Experience
Language has always been a passion of mine. Since the age of three, as a native English-speaker, I have been studying the french language, which opened me up to a different way of communicating. Communication is probably one of the most important keys in our world in order to have better understanding, more opportunities, and cooperation. I am new to the teaching field, but have spent a great amount of time in language learning environments, not only academically, but socially as well. I have traveled through Europe more than once, spending some time in France and Greece. In Greece, I learned how to communicate quickly by being receptive and observant. I am a friendly, people-person, and like spending time helping others.

Hobbies
I have a wide variety of interests and have always been interested in the numerous cultures of our world. One of my favorite classes in college was World Religions, which left me with good insight into the varying perspectives of people all across the world. I have a deep love of music and I am myself a singer and songwriter. Music is one of the universal languages which can be felt by all. I enjoy dance, another non-verbal form of communication, and the arts, as well as philosophy. I also spend much of my time crocheting hand-made crafts. I love people and love learning about what makes us human. The better we communicate, the more we learn!
